Replacement double sluice gate.
Some older Harestore/A O Smith stores used a pair of 12" valves coupled together in the reception pit. Often now beyond repair, the cheapest solution is an adaptor flange and two 8" or similiar valves bolted together. POA.

Old Stock Layflat Hose (not suitable for dragging/umbilical)
Blue, 5" ID (127mm), 6 bar rating. Red, 6" ID (152mm), 6 bar rating. Very cheap, only £7.50/ metre, either size.
I have succesfullly used this when there have been complaints about smell when pumping into a store through a jetter. A length of layflat long enough to reach well down into the tank will reduce spray into the air, while not allowing the slurry to siphon back. A belt and braces approach would fit a non-return valve above the pump, or even a gate valve, but this should not be necessary.

I have various galvanised fittings, flanged to fit 4-hole MZ type slurry fittings and brass valves. These include tank outlet flanges,medium and heavy duty, drilled to use slurry tank bolts. The 1.0metre straight pipe and Tee have had light use.

Catwalk. Actually off a 15'/18'6"diameter silo.
Will be supplied complete with handrails and stop-ends, brackets, galvanised bolts and nuts, to use similar to the shiny one in the pictures. Any body with an old Boythorpe silo will have struggled with the roof ladder in the second picture. This will be easier to use and much safer. Or use it for something else?

All parts are usually in stock, both 6" and 8". The example shown was loosely assembled for demonstration purposes.
I have found that if the parts inside the store are galvanized steel, they will rust surprisingly quickly, particularly if the store is emptied regularly! As a result I have managed to get the flanges made in PVC and any pipe work, 160mm (6") or 225mm (8"). This can be assembled so that it dips into the original outlet for better emptying.
